Our largest fundraiser of the year, making training and play possible for dozens of youth ballplayers in our community. This program runs on the generosity of many. In fundraising, we get to welcome the many into the mission. It’s not so bad.

HOW IT WORKS

  • On Monday July 29 players will receive their link from 99Pledges.

  • Following the directions in the email, visit your player’s donation page and upload a photo of him/her.

  • Have your player write a letter or make a video to share along with their 99Pleadges link. Get creative!

  • Start sharing your players’ link and letter/video with your family and friends! Players have 6 weeks to meet their goal.

  • On Sunday September 8 we will have Hit-a-Thon.

MORE INFORMATION

We use 99Pledges to collect donations. Every player will receive a link to their individual donation page via email (to parents). All parents have to do is upload a photo of their player. Club information and fundraiser details are already uploaded to each player’s page.

Share your link with friends and family! Donors can pledge a per hit donation or make a flat donation. Cash and checks are accepted and manually entered to the player’s page.

At Hit-a-Thon on Sunday, September 8 each player will get 10 pitches (Time and field location coming soon.) Hard hits count as a hit! Players’ hits are recorded on 99Pledges. Donors then receive an email receipt and their donation is complete.

Player participation is important. Coaches equip their players to talk about the Club and their team’s fundraising needs. We ask that players write a letter or make a video to share along with their donation link. We also encourage players to write thank you cards to their donors, which we can provide.

Letters/videos can be about what baseball/softball means to them and should include what our fundraiser directly supports:

Indoor space for pre-season practice

Equipment and baseballs/softballs

Field rentals and umpire fees

Local league fees and tournament entry fees

Coaching resources and development

CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND

The top 3 fundraisers (by dollar amount) from each team will compete in a Championship Round! Each player in this round will receive an additional 10 pitches and the player with the most hits wins $50 cash! Qualifying donations must be received by 8:00PM MST Saturday, September 7th.

MORE ON THE MONEY

We are committed to keeping registration fees low. The current reg fee is $350/player and covers insurance and the player’s uniform package. Fundraising offsets all remaining team costs.

  1. Fundraised funds stay with the team. They are not pooled between teams. Teams have different needs and goals.

  2. Each team contributes a small percentage of funds to the Club’s General Fund for needs that support and benefit every team (admin systems, annual All-team Dinner and other team events, merch sales, etc.)

  3. Westslope Mustangs Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors is transparent with our financials.
